Healthy after school snack
When the kids come home from school they like to know what can they grab and eat before dinner, we want to know what could they eat that will not ruin their appetite for dinner. A few friends have told me what the do and i have tried to mix things up, plain yogurt with some granola is a cool option, you can also have fresh fruit there to mix in it, a plain bagel topped with some pasta sauce and some mozzarella and make a pizza bagel, some celery and peanut butter is always a fave as well as the apples and peanut butter, some fresh veggies and low fat dip, the list goes on, have fun with it mix and match, there is so much ways to have the kids eat a very yummy and most important healthy snack.

Tips from an everyday mom is just what my journal is, I have been keeping track of what i eat, what helps me with energy for keeping up with my young ones, I also find many ways to help my kids eat more healthy, might as well start the good habits now, especially when everywhere you turn there is more and more junk foods polluting our lives, no we do not have to eat it, it is our choicce but lets give our kids great choices with the healthy stuff.

What is Being Healthy
Many people do not know what exactly it means to be in good health, what may be healthy for some may not be for others, what I mean is, just because a program tells you this is how you need to lose it, does not mean its the best way for you, sit back, relax and read some of my healthy tips which may or may not wrk from an average person like me.
